First Bands Announced for 8th Annual Brazilian Festival

The annual Brazilian is off and running! We are excited to announce our first two bands for this year's 8th Annual Brazilian Day Arizona Festival at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts! Its about to get heavy, funky, groovy and loud with some down home Funk n Soul by non other than Os Zagueiros!!! The funky soul outfit from Sao Paulo by way of LA hits Arizona for their debut sounding like Tim Maia has risen from the grave! Can't wait to bring that soul to the desert son! Next up, we have the Bahian Sambe-Reggae batucada band BATALA joining us! The heavy percussive band blends the sounds of Bahia with heavy beat, samba rhythms and samba grooves! The group has over 1,000 members spread across 15 countries worldwide! Can't wait to see what they have planned for us!
