Afro:Baile is happy to announce our headline band / performer for this year's 9th Annual Brazilian Day Arizona Festival at the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts! Please welcome, from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, the multi-instrumental musician and band leader, "Caique Vidal"!! We can't wait to share the sounds of Afro-Brazilian music with you, as Caique and the band mix the sounds of Samba, Reggae, Funk and Bossa to tantalize your eardrums! 

About:
Accomplished performer, percussionist, and songwriter from Salvador da Bahia—the center of historic African culture in Brazil. Vidal has diverse training that includes the Creative School of Olodum and the arts program at Liceu de Artes e Oficios da Bahia, where he studied Music Education, Dance, and Theater. Caique Vidal and Batuque presents the vibrations of African music in the Americas performing the rhythms of samba, reggae, and Bossa Nova.
